Lea Michele Launches #ActuallySheCan Campaign

Lea Michele is a pretty incredible women. From an amazing voice to a great acting chops, she has many talents. Last week, she shared two of her other abilities—writing and empowering. As a guest contributor to The Daily Beast, she published a piece about it being the time for women to empower women. Michele begins by discussing how she is thankful to live in a world filled with the voices of such strong women. She then goes on to discuss how the risks she has taken in life have been less scary due to a strong network of females.

The piece is worth a read as it also introduces her new campaign #ActuallySheCan. This hashtag is a reminder that I can, you can, she can, and we all can. It’s important for us, as women, to bring one another up and not tear each other down. As Michele says, it’s time to “bring back the sisterhood.”
